This paper discusses discursive and non-discursive practices that have worked as wills to truth in the establishment of teacher identities and also of the so-called curricular specificities. With this purpose, we have approached Michel Foucault’s theorizations concerning the concepts of history and memory in order to question a few curricular traditions that have traversed the preparation of science teachers.
