Abstract

PAIXAO, Sérgio Vale da  and  SOUZA, Leonardo Lemos de. Digital literacy: cognitive and affective processes in the written production of young people. LTP [online]. 2018, vol.36, n.73, pp.173-188.  Epub July 24, 2019. ISSN 2317-0972.

In increasingly technological contexts, it becomes increasingly urgent to rethink the process of teaching and learning in order to obtain the integral formation of the students. Teaching and learning in digital times have been the great challenge of the contemporary school, for the innumerable means of interaction and communication that are the social networks of the Internet have considerably competed with the school. This article problematizes the importance of thinking about the written production in the school environment, when cognition and affectivity are indissoluble, in search of an integral formation of the learner. We defend both the academic and the emotional preparation. According to specialized literature and based on our own experience in teaching, we present a discussion on the topic of new technologies and contemporary subjectivities in education, especially with regard to written production.

Keywords : New technologies; cognition; affectivity; written production.
