Brazilian public policies for people with disabilities are an important support in guaranteeing this public’s right to education. They are recontextualized according to the singularities of schools and students and dialogue with other sectors to materialize. Our goal in this study was to discuss the articulation between different public spaces to ensure that students with disabilities are assisted in two public schools in Queimados/RJ. The methodology, with a qualitative approach, through field research and documental analysis and interviews with school agents. The findings indicated that intersectoriality proved to be important in the interaction between bureaucrats in education, health and social assistance, without intersectorial coordination in the construction of partnerships viable.

Keywords : intersectoriality; special education; public policy, school agents.
