Abstract

The study aimed to identify how formative experiences are related to the performance of Pedagogy students in the National Student Performance Examination - Enade - 2017. This is a descriptive study with a mixed approach. Using microdata, we extracted the responses of 111,338, Pedagogy students, 6,996 (6.3%) males and 104,342 (93.7%) females, mean age 32.86 + 9.23. microdata from Enade 2017. Performance in the Specific component and items 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 23 of the student questionnaire were selected. Students who did a non-institutional exchange program, those who attended high school partly in Brazil and partly abroad, those who took the vocational technical course and those who read more than eight books had better performance.
