The Research Ethics Committee of the University of Santa Cruz do Sul - Unisc -, has been in operation since 2001 with the purpose of developing a consultative, educational and deliberative role. From the joint action of student professors, it was possible to promote bridges that stimulate the multidisciplinarity of horizons of ethics in research at the institution. The objective of this text is to present the main elements that characterize the CEP at Unisc, in particular the performance of the collegiate in favor of common goals, a promotion of bridges that stimulate the multidisciplinarity of horizons of ethics in research and experiences and contributions to continuing education. . Also noteworthy are scientific works, such as employee turnover and low knowledge on the part of the community about the work of the CEP, and potential ones, such as continuing and collegiate training.
