Abstract

PAULISTA, Maria Inês  and  BAUER, Carlos. Formação política e profissional: um desafio do Núcleo de Ensino Profissional Livre Nova Piratininga (1979-1996). Sér.-Estud. [online]. 2013, n.35, pp.137-156. ISSN 2318-1982.  https://doi.org/10.20435/2318-1982-2013-v.35(09).

This article aims to investigate the formation of political and professional employees of the Center for Professional Teaching Free New Piratininga years since its founding in 1979, during the military dictatorship in Brazil and its course until the year 1996. The main objective is to verify the design of training adopted by the institution founded by a group of unions that opposed the union metalworker established. It offered training courses supported by technical expertise, training, policy and academic education to workers. The training of the worker requires a level of expertise and critical analysis of society in order to identify the social demands that are at the center of their practice. Thus, we intend to reconstruct the history of this school and its key players through the historical context. The oral sources with the narratives of workers and teachers who have experienced this process of creation, and the official documentation, to reclaim the key trends, among which focus on political resistance and changes in the training of new members who had, as its main concern, the ideals of a fairer and more democratic.
