The objective is to integrate field studies on the processes of appropriation and circulation of knowledge concerned the teaching and research in History of Education. The temporality of the chosen documents is limited from 1983 to 2003. The analysis is bolstered on position that comprises curriculum or disciplinary programs such as devices that tend to legitimize discourses on the educational, managing “truths”. In conclusion, it reaffirms the documents reviewed and considered as a development of teaching and research in History of Education in Parana, it also observes possible interfaces with the prescribed content for teaching history therein and allows discerning what was culturally selected for the knowledge of teachers and students.
