The present paper is the result of a research and presents an analysis of academic productions on the theme “Education and Diversity”, published in two journals from the oldest and most traditional pos graduated programs in Education in Mato Grosso do Sul - InterMeio, from UFMS, and Série-Estudos, from UCDB. The methodological approach was based on searching texts and journals with cultural diversity keywords. After that, these information were organized in frequency, categories, methodologies and concepts. For the analysis of results and discussions, Silva (2003) and Valente (1999) were used, among others authors. In summary, it was possible to understand that the productions talks about diversity at school, although the ethnic and cultural analysis referred specially to Mato Grosso do Sul are still insufficient.
