Resumen

CAMOSSA, Denise do Amaral  y  CARO, Sueli Maria Pessagno. Health promotion and socio-community education. Sér.-Estud. [online]. 2014, n.38, pp.107-128. ISSN 2318-1982.  https://doi.org/10.20435/2318-1982-2014-v.38(08).

Health is seen not only as the absence of disease, but as a collective and political action, which should worry about preventive practices and the socio-community experience. The aim of this study was to show the contribution of the socio-community education to the new vision for health promotion. We have developed a literature survey deepening the knowledge and responding to specific questions of the social reality. The difficulties related to (interdisciplinary) teamwork is still a reflection of the change of a pedagogical model centered on a linear, institutionalized, hierarchical work, with the use of specific techniques - which are fragmented, party al and isolated - of a particular area of training. Interdisciplinary (and transdisciplinary) work requires changes and challenges inherent to the social harmony in the workplace. Socio-community education promotes the relations between professionals and practitioners and addressees.
