Abstract

This article focuses on the scientific production on Rural Education (CE) and the Education of Youth and Adults (EJA) as support to establish the relationship with the Special Education (EE) in order to recognize the existence of research that reflect the concern with the schooling youth and adults with disabilities in the field. From the methodological point of view the study is anchored on Bibliometrics, resource that allows you to analyze the scientific production of an area of knowledge or specific theme to be investigated. Despite the interface between EJA, Rural Education and Special Education being present in the Brazilian educational reality, the results indicated a gap in scientific production in view of the low percentage of academic papers with this focus.
