This article is a work of research funded by the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). Among the objectives of the research is to investigate the relationship between the process of marginalization of 18 teenagers involved in illegal acts and education experienced by them at the House Foundation Sorocaba, SP. The research results have identified: (i) the reasons why adolescents engage in illegal acts, (ii) the relationship between the school situation experienced by adolescents and involvement in illegal acts, (iii) the process "disciplinary" education-experienced by adolescents within the Foundation, and (iv) compiled of ethnic profiling, economic, educational and family of teenagers Sorocaba.
