SILVA, Adelina. From the traditional classroom to the flipped classroom - digital tools for today's classrooms. Sér.-Estud. [online]. 2015, n.39, pp.13-31. ISSN 2318-1982.  https://doi.org/10.20435/2318-1982-2015-v.39(02).

In recent times, the idea of radically changing the educational format - the classroom - has become something worth discussing. The emergence of a transformation of teaching practices has become an imperative. The number of teachers who uses the methodology of the inverted teaching - flipped classroom - in their activity is gradually growing, although there are still some who have never heard of this methodology. This model uses the Internet to facilitate the learning process in the classroom, giving teachers more ti me to interact with their students, personalizing the teaching/learning process, and spending less ti me in class debiting content. The inverted classroom is intended to facilitate learning and not necessarily to increase the teaching skills. In fact, to get the most out of this methodology, teachers may need to reconsider some organizational habits in the classroom as well as Internet use. However, the response of teachers who have tried and continue to use this method in today's classrooms is extremely positive, and shows that "reverse" things can kindle a passion for learning, which otherwise might be lost. Much of the literature on flipped classroom focuses primarily as technologically reverse the classroom, focusing its analysis tools for recording explanatory videos. In this paper I will focus on the definition of flipped classroom, presenting a varied technological support, based on free Web 2.0 tools, which provide opportunities to incorporate creative learning strategies within this new teaching and learning model, to maximize the construction of knowledge of students.
