This text is about research aimed to investigate the perceptions of the educator on teaching and learning in the Undergraduation Courses of Pedagogy, considering the high growth in the number of courses in this modality in Brazil at the beginning of the XXI century and the many questions that are raised about them. It was chosen a qualitative and quantitative approach, using documentary survey and field research. A questionnaire was answered by 21 teachers, and semistructured interviews was applied with nine of them in two institutions of Triangulo Mineiro, MG. It was possible to verify that the participants' ideas in relation to learning were highly positive, allowing great responsibility to the student. Regarding the organization of educational activities, it can be inferred that the conditions of teachers' work and how Virtual Learning Environments are used, the didactic and pedagogical mediation is limited and with li�� le interaction and scientific dialogue, because are predominant the activities evaluative.
