Abstract

This article results from a survey that identified educational processes present in music educationpractices with children, with the support the use of toys. Our dates came from the participantobservation in two groups with children aged between 2 and 3 years, accompanied by parents orcaregivers. We made notes, regularly in a field journal. The results showed that the process of music education was significantly enriched by the children toys available in the music classes. Rattles, scarves, wooden horses, stuffed animals, puppets, rag dolls, books, children's stories, encouragedthe participation of children in songs and dances, expanded relationships between children andtheir parents, teachers and other children. Join toys and musical instruments show us the potentialof working as recreational support employees in the hospitality and conviviality of children, enhancingtheir interactions and strengthening emotional bonds. As a result, we also had an importantincreasing of the music creativity, understanding and performance. It´s possible to realize childrendevelopment in the promotion of pleasant, sensitive and more humanizing practices in music education -friendly moments.
