Abstract

It discusses a humanistic didactic proposition for Higher Education, opposed to the commercial logic of academic education, the Integrator Research Project. This proposition, which is being developed in a course of Social Service, is characterized by a link between teaching and research socially committed. The aforementioned project is explained and evaluated within the Model Zone of Knowledge Generator, intending to ascertain whether this teaching is being eff ective in building knowledge able to generate social change. We analyze the perceptions of the students regarding their participation in the proposal, also putting reflection on which is the mission of University in contemporary society.
