The objective in this article is to present the history of the Salesian education in Corumbá, MS, in the Colégio Salesiano de Santa Teresa, in the period that prevailed an agreement between the Missão Salesiana de Mato Grosso, the state of Mato Grosso and, afterwards, the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The agreement created the State School Santa Teresa that operated simultaneously to the Salesian School of Santa Teresa. It is our intention to show the organization and running of the two schools, and how the Salesian brand was blended to a public school.
