Abstract

PEREIRA, Lilian Alves  and  HEINZLE, Márcia R. Selpa. The dubiousness of teacher training: a weight and two measures. The teaching course and the Pedagogy. Sér.-Estud. [online]. 2016, vol.21, n.42, pp.63-77. ISSN 2318-1982.  https://doi.org/10.20435/2318-1982-2016-v.21-n.42(04).

The aim of this article is to problematize the teacher training dubiousness in high school and higher education to work in early childhood education and the early years of elementary school. Performs an analysis of the teaching course curriculum in middle level, offered by the state of Santa Catarina, and a pedagogy course, offered by a public university in the state. Given that both formations have the same objective: the training of teachers for early childhood education and early years of elementary school. It can be seen a disparity between the curriculum, the workload, the disciplines and the approaches in the internships. Wonders, therefore, what is the reason that keeps the coexistence of these two trainings, even after the legal regulations prescribing the termination of the teacher training course in high level that by having its end determined does not receive investments. We conclude that the bad professional conditions and the social and economic depreciation are intrinsically linked to the quality of teacher training.

Keywords : Curriculum; teaching course; teacher training; Pedagogy.
