This article presents the process of creating the Environmental Management course in a regional context and analyzes the results of an empirical research with the alumni of this course. It highlights the motivations that led the student to choose this kind of course, the access to the labor market, the impacts of the course on personal life and what evaluation the alumni makes about his course. The results of this study point to aspects of special relevance regarding the reformulation and management of the course.
