Abstract

PISKE, Eliana Lima; GARCIA, Narjara Mendes  and  YUNES, Maria Angela Mattar. Environmental Education of Children from a systemic perspective. Sér.-Estud. [online]. 2021, vol.26, n.56, pp.41-70.  Epub July 22, 2021. ISSN 2318-1982.  https://doi.org/10.20435/serie-estudos.v26i56.1330.

The article proposes an analysis of the theoretical triad in the field of childhood education to investigate the interfaces of the concepts of the Biology of Knowledge, by Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela, the Bioecological Model Human Development, by Urie Bronfenbrenner, and the Systemic Perspective of Environmental Education, according to their theoretic-methodological-systemic frameworks. The following dimensions were interrelated in the study of bibliographic review: education as a process; the educators and the children as persons; the contexts as the educational environment; and the time in the educational trajectory. Results indicate that the complexity of elements is a promoter of human development with the Environmental Education of Children

Keywords : human development; environmental education; infancies.
