Resumen

PEREIRA, Talita Vidal  y  BIBIANI, Anna Clara Rodrigues Sondahl. BNCC and large-scale evaluations: utterances in media discourses. Sér.-Estud. [online]. 2022, vol.27, n.60, pp.197-214.  Epub 30-Ago-2022. ISSN 2318-1982.  https://doi.org/10.20435/serie-estudos.v27i60.1540.

The study assumes as empirical opinion articles published during 2017, in two major newspapers, O Estado de S. Paulo and O Globo, addressing BNCC themes and large-scale evaluations. From a post-structural approach, specifically the Discourse Theory of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, the articles are assumed as discursive practices traversed by multiple power relations in society and that contribute to the process of hegemonization of meanings of quality in education. The selected articles are taken as discourses and analyzed with the aim of interpreting the production and circulation of educational quality meanings linked to assessment meanings that favor the hegemonization of a discourse in which the BNCC is meant as capable of generating improvement in quality of education. The choice of empiricism is justified insofar as the means of communication are configured in a privileged space for the production and articulation of political discourses that are in dispute in society, due to its popularization as a source of information.

Palabras clave : BNCC; quality of education; large-scale evaluations.
