In this article, we seek to systematize the production of knowledge between the period 2007 and 2017 on the topic of Higher Education Quality, in order to understand how it is presented by the research communities inserted in the stricto sensu Brazilian Postgraduate Programs. In the data production, we use the principles of Knowledge State, with a focus on the research of an exploratory, inventorying and descriptive character. As a result, we have the quality perceived from the university excellence, the training of the subjects and the mission of the University with society.
