Abstract

This article aims to present the results of bibliographic research about the militarization of public schools in Brazil. The following databases were consulted: Portal de Periódicos da Capes ; Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações ; Google Scholar. From the survey emerged questions related to the militarized management and its interferences on pedagogical practices, the formatting of a school model that prioritizes discipline and control, the dependency relationship between the improvement of school performance and the students’ characteristics.
