Abstract

This article verifies the level of incorporation of the concepts of Strategic Planning by the Municipal Secretariats of Education of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, in addition to outlining the profile of its managers. The methodology used had an emphasis on the quantitative aspects of the applied nature of the descriptive type. A structured questionnaire was applied to the Education Officers, indicating that the command is typically female and with full graduation. The study suggests a consolidated Strategic Planning practice among managers, but with vulnerability in its application.
