The article presents the training for teachers on Law 10.639/2003, carried out by Coletivo Agbára RS and by the Education Department of the municipality of Venâncio Aires/RS. The goal is to contribute to anti-racist education by demarcating the social debate in education with references from the black movement, social representations, and psychology. Held in five face-to-face meetings and distance activities, the results show the need for actions and indicators that allow the evaluation and monitoring of the implementation of the law.
