Abstract

COSTA, CLARA CORRÊA DA  and  GONCALVES, HELENICE MAIA. Pedagogical formation in the pedagogy course: an analysis of public policies in the light of the theory of social representations. Revista Brasileira de Política e Administração da Educação [online]. 2020, vol.36, n.3, pp.1010-1028.  Epub Jan 20, 2021. ISSN 2447-4193.  https://doi.org/10.21573/vol36n32020.104882.

The objective of the study was to identify and analyze the social representations of pedagogical formation implicit in the National Curricular Guidelines for the Pedagogy course. The research, of qualitative nature, was guided by the Theory of Social Representations developed by Serge Moscovici, associated with the Theory of Argumentation. The document was analyzed based on the Argumentative Strategy Model. It was identified that the social representation of pedagogical training is anchored in the disarticulation between theory and practice, the result of old divisions: the model that opposed the bachelor and the graduate.

Keywords : Social Representations; Public policy; Pedagogical Formation; Pedagogy.
