Abstract

The article sought to analyze Fundação Itaú Social in its action to produce knowledge for education. Using the Social Network Analysis Methodology, we mapped the public and private partnerships established with individual and collective agents. The research showed that such agents make up an organic movement acting through a complex social network composed of a fraction of the Brazilian bourgeoisie, which influences and acts on public education on several fronts: in policies, practices and consensus.
