This paper aims to present an overview of enrollment in full-time early childhood education at the national scope, in the historical series of the decade 2007-2017. It carries out a descriptive and explanatory analysis of data from INEP (School Census 2007 to 2017) and IBGE (population projection estimate 2017). The findings indicate a trend of growth in full-time enrollment, especially in urban public daycare centers, with higher evolution when compared to part- time. It notes that the prevalence of both female and white children is similar.
