Abstract

PEINADO, JURANDIR; VIANNA, FERNANDO RESSETTI PINHEIRO MARQUES  and  MENEGHETTI, FRANCIS KANASHIRO. The prospect of students returning to a Public University for face-to-face classes in the post-pandemic period. Revista Brasileira de Política e Administração da Educação [online]. 2022, vol.38, n.1, e121497.  Epub Oct 02, 2023. ISSN 2447-4193.  https://doi.org/10.21573/vol38n002022.121497.

The study analyzes students’ perceptions about returning to face-to-face classes in the post-pandemic period. The data were produced through the application of an online questionnaire to students from a Public University and had 3,236 responses submitted to statistical procedures. Results showed that students do not consider the advantages of remote teaching more relevant than the gains resulting from face-to-face teaching, and groups of students who contracted covid-19 are more fearful of the return of face-to-face education.
