This article aims to analyze the Egress Monitoring Policy - PAE of the Federal Network of Professional and Technological Education for technical education integrated into high school - EPTNM and its possible dialogue with the issues of youth, the target audience of this stage of basic education. The study expands the discussion of PAE in a context that is still not very widespread, although, in the practice already carried out, which is that of EPTNM, as well as proposing to think of PAE as a communication channel between the educational institution and the “youths”. The methodology used is the qualitative approach, of exploratory character from bibliographic and documental research. The results showed that, despite the legal basis for a policy of monitoring egress in technical education integrated with high school, it is still incipient, based on the premise of the lack of regulations with concepts and practices that are consistent with the issues of training in the field of high school and, consequently, with youth formation.
