The objective of this research was to verify the evidence of the applicability of the universal design model of learning (UDL) in higher education. The Likert Scale was used to assess nine objective items present in the semi-structured questionnaire for the research. The participants of this study were 110 higher education students of both sexes, aged between 18 and 45 years of the undergraduate course in Pedagogy, in a blended study from a Public Institution in the state of Ceará. In order to verify the internal consistency of the instrument, Exploratory Factor Analysis was used. Reliability was verified using Cronbach’s alpha (α = 0.826). It was found that methodologies based on UDL principles bring contributions to assessment and learning in higher education.
