The act of studying during the pandemic exposed greater and lesser degrees of contrast in terms of social class, gender, race, and place of residence for the youth population. In this article, we present the results of an investigation of high school students in Brazil. The method used in the study consisted of an online mixed questionnaire, a non-probabilistic sample of 394 young individuals in addition to 9 semi-structured interviews. The results translate the reality of remote education as well as the challenges and strategies developed to study during the pandemic.
