AMARAL E SILVA, LUISA FIGUEIREDO DO. Educational policies of full-time education and integral education in Brazil: conceptions and tensions between planned and accomplished. Revista Brasileira de Política e Administração da Educação [online]. 2023, vol.39, n.1, e117693.  Epub Sep 25, 2023. ISSN 2447-4193.  https://doi.org/10.21573/vol39n12023.117693.

This article aims to analyze the conceptions of full-time education and integral education present in Brazilian educational policies. To this end, it made use of bibliographic and documentary research, investigating: (1) the monitoring of the PNE’s Goal 6 (2014-2024) and (2) three actions aimed at providing full-time education. As a result, the following were identified: (1) an orientation to a full-time students model (CAVALIERE, 2009) and (2) an orientation that links the provision of full-time student education to vulnerable populations to support the binomial education/protection (COELHO, 2009).

Keywords : Full-time education; Integral education, educational policies.
