MATOS, IVY DANIELA MONTEIRO  and  CARVALHO, MARIA JOÃO. Education management and the challenges imposed by international bodies. Revista Brasileira de Política e Administração da Educação [online]. 2023, vol.39, n.1, e114483.  Epub Sep 25, 2023. ISSN 2447-4193.  https://doi.org/10.21573/vol39n12023.114483.

This is an article of reflexive nature, which aims to address the importance of International Organizations in the elaboration of homogenizing policies in developed and developing countries, promoting massification. For this purpose, we present the conceptions that underlie these policies, namely the conception of the self and the other, and the ideological bases that support it. It was possible to conclude, concerning education, that these policies affect the forms of management and slip into the teaching work, as well as in the parameters of school evaluation.

Keywords : Democratic education management; Educational management policies; International Organizations; Emancipatory education.
