This study aims to quantify the effects of Law 13.409/2016 on the provision of technical help and assistive technology for People with Disabilities (PwD) in Brazilian Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES). After estimating logistic regression models with panel data, the results indicated an increase in the availability of accessibility tools following the implementation of Law 13,409/2016. On the other hand, while demonstrating progress, the results underscore the need to expand the offering of subjects, resources, and technical assistance to effectively include PwD in IFES.
