The objective is to investigate the dangers of the order of discourse in Educational Policy and Management. Through the conception of discourse adopted by Michel Foucault, we analyze the process of institutionalization of the area, observing its development and organization in discipline and its ordered expansion with authors and commentators, then, we analyze the external procedures that operate in systems of exclusion and, in conjunction with the previous ones, they establish discursive rules that proliferate their formation. What are the dangers of the order of discourse in Educational Policy and Management? The main danger is not realizing how much we are controlled and propagating a discourse, excluding other new methodological possibilities for research and theoretical conceptions.
