Abstract:
This article presents reflections on the possibilities of working with manipulable materials in the formation of the Pedagogue, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The considerations presented are the result of the Teaching Internship carried out in the discipline of Knowledge and Methodologies of Teaching Mathematics 1, Night shift, in the degree course in Pedagogy at the Universidade Federal de Alagoas, in an emergency remote period. As theoretical support, the writings of Lorenzato (2012) were used, among others. Qualitatively, data were collected through participant observation and analysis of the first author's logbook, as well as the students enrolled in the course. The results showed that it was possible, in the midst of remote teaching, to provide practical classes that contemplated the making and use of manipulative materials, stimulating creativity and the appropriation of mathematical concepts.
