This study emphasizes the examination of rural educational programs and projects in Vale do Juruá - Acre, verifying their articulations with the global agenda of multilateral organizations and their reflections on poverty. As methodological constituents pertaining to the theoretical conceptions and generated by the documental data, by the qualitative approach, we developed a dialectic analysis. In the research, we identified the predominance of the economic-formative dimension, both in school knowledge and in work, seized to legitimize an educational ideology and way of life that captures the individualities and singularities of rural people, producing a convergence of interests that distorts reality and resonates as a socioeconomic and educational conditioner.
