Abstract

HARDT, Lúcia Schneider  and  LORENZINI, Stefania Peixer. OF NIETZSCHE’S LAUGHTER AND HOW A FORMATIVE EXPERIENCE GUIDED BY DOUBT IS POSSIBLE. Revista LES [online]. 2024, vol.28, n.56, pp.-.  Epub Mar 21, 2025. ISSN 2526-8449.  https://doi.org/10.26694/rles.v28i56.4797.

In this article, we propose to understand the laughter that inhabits the work of the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, more specifically, in Zarathustra and The Gay Science, as a catalyst for a formative experience, considering its potential to cast doubt on certainties, truths and normativities, making space for the future, for the new, for the unknown. We propose to treat this laughter as a force capable of breaking processes that tend to solidify us ontologically, in the name of a formation that elevates our capacity to create and transform the reality of which we are part. A laugh that moves the tragic, and that can make us take flight, in the name of an existence that is ultimately creative.

Keywords : Laughter; Formation; Doubt; Experience; Nietzsche.
