The Educanorte network PhD program consists of nine Higher Education Institutions in Northern Brazil that offer postgraduate courses in Education. In this article, we evaluate research in the fields of Culture and Art developed within the programs offered by the nine institutions and within Educanorte. The methodology involved analyzing the academic production of the courses between 2019 and December 2023, based on records in the Capes Theses and Dissertations Catalog. The analysis of the material was conducted using content analysis applied to the titles, abstracts, and keywords of the works, with detailed reading when necessary. We identified 138 studies concentrated in these areas. The results were organized into one main category, identified as "Subject/Object of Investigation," and two subcategories named "Culture" and "Art," which were further subdivided into 16 guiding topics. The conclusions indicate that the cultural diversity and artistic richness of the region have been widely studied, although there are still areas to be explored, suggesting the production of knowledge with the potential to generate significant changes in the educational landscape.
