A representa&#231;&#227;o do magist&#233;rio como &#8220;voca&#231;&#227;o&#8221; e as premissas da tend&#234;ncia natural feminina para desempenho de uma atividade &#8220;maior&#8221; e superior &#224;s demais profiss&#245;es - a de &#8220;educador&#8221; - trouxeram uma enorme ambiguidade para a forma&#231;&#227;o dos professores. Nossa hip&#243;tese &#233; que a dissemina&#231;&#227;o dessa perspectiva contribuiu para a descaracteriza&#231;&#227;o profissional do magist&#233;rio. A profissionalidade &#233; condi&#231;&#227;o necess&#225;ria para a qualidade do exerc&#237;cio profissional, pois, ancorada no habitus profissional, viabiliza o desenvolvimento das a&#231;&#245;es razo&#225;veis (&#8220;senso do jogo&#8221;) que, incorporadas pelas a&#231;&#245;es experimentadas no campo escolar, fundamentariam uma boa forma&#231;&#227;o profissional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article aims to address the professional training of teachers from the angle of the sociology of the professions. The representation of teaching as a &#8220;vocation&#8221; and the premises of the natural, feminine tendency to perform an activity &#8220;greater&#8221; than - and superior to - other professions, that of the &#8220;educator&#8221;, has brought a tremendous ambiguity to the training of teachers. Our hypothesis is that the spread of this perspective has contributed to the professional misrepresentation of teaching. Professionalism is a necessary condition for the quality of professional practice because, when anchored in professional habitus, it enables the development of reasonable actions (&#8220;sense of play&#8221;) that, incorporated into the actions experienced in the school field, supports good professional training. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[R&#201;SUM&#201; L&#8217;objectif de cet article est d&#8217;aborder la formation professionnelle des enseignants sous l&#8217;angle de la sociologie des professions. La repr&#233;sentation de la carri&#232;re d&#8217;enseignant en tant que &#171; vocation &#187; et le presuppos&#233; de la tendance naturelle des femmes &#224; l&#180;exercice d&#8217;une activit&#233; &#171; majeure &#187; et sup&#233;rieure aux autres professions - celle d&#8217; &#171; &#233;ducateur &#187; - ont apport&#233; une &#233;norme ambiguit&#233; &#224; la formation des enseignants. Notre hypoth&#232;se est que la diss&#233;mination de cette perspective a largement contribu&#233; &#224; la perte de caract&#232;re professionnelle de l&#8217;enseignement. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El objetivo del presente art&#237;culo es abordar la formaci&#243;n profesional del profesor desde el &#225;ngulo de la sociolog&#237;a de las profesiones. La representaci&#243;n del magisterio como &#8220;vocaci&#243;n&#8221; y las premisas de la tendencia natural femenina para el desempe&#241;o de una actividad &#8220;mayor&#8221; y superior a las dem&#225;s profesiones -la de &#8220;educador&#8221;- ocasionaron una enorme ambig&#252;edad a la formaci&#243;n de los profesores. Nuestra hip&#243;tesis es que la diseminaci&#243;n de esta perspectiva contribuy&#243; para la descaracterizaci&#243;n profesional del magisterio.
