As análises articulam referenciais sobre letramento como uma prática social, pressupostos bakhtinianos sobre o discurso e estudos de etnógrafos sobre interações em sala de aula. Pode-se perceber que intervenções da professora possibilitaram a construção de uma dinâmica discursiva “aberta” que não teve por objetivo restringir os significados daquilo que os alunos relataram sobre o tema em questão: a dengue. Houve uma preocupação também com a instrumentalização para ações efetivas de prevenção da doença.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This paper discusses literacy’s practice in a classroom of the first grade in an elementary school. The analysis are based on references on literacy as a social practice, on Bakhtin’s perspective on discourse and on references from ethnographers that analyze classroom interactions. The results indicate that the teacher’s practice mediated the construction of an “open” discursive dynamic that has not limited the meanings constructed by students about the epidemy of the dengue, the theme debated in the class. We also observed that the discussions and reflections created an opportunity to students to construct actions to prevent this illness.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[El presente trabajo discute las prácticas de letramento en un grado del primer ciclo. Los análisis articulan referencias sobre letramento como una práctica social, los presupuestos bakhtinianos sobre el discurso y los estudios etnográficos sobre las interacciones en el aula. Observase, que las intervenciones de la maestra posibilitaron la construcción de una dinámica discursiva “abierta”, y que no tuvo la intención de restringir los significados de aquello que los alumnos relataron sobre el tema en cuestión: el dengue. También, hubo una preocupación para instrumentalizar las acciones efectivas para la prevención de la enfermedad.]]></p></abstract>
