Os PPPs foram considerados no limite de sua expressão escrita, em sua forma documental, da qual emergiram seis categorias: temporalidade/historicidade, autoria, diagnóstico, avaliação, finalidades/objetivos/metas, democratização/participação. O PPP não se concretizou como instrumental para o direcionamento da prática educativa e o estabelecimento de princípios orientadores da ação. Entre os cinco PPPs analisados apenas dois apresentam traços mais inovadores.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This study aims to describe and analyze the political pedagogical projects (PPP) of five municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul chosen from a sample of 22. The PPP were examined in its written expression, a documental form, and in this process it was possible to identify six categories: temporality/ historicity, authorship, diagnostic, evaluation, end/objectives and democratization/participation. At the end, the article concludes that the PPP studied were not instrumental for the construction and orientation of the pedagogical practice. Among the five PPP studied only two presented innovate proposals.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[El objetivo de este trabajo es describir y analizar el proyecto político-pedagógico (PPP) de cinco municipios del Río Grande del Sur identificados en una lista de 22. Los PPP fueron considerados en el límite de su expresión escrita, en su forma documental, de la cual surgieron seis categorías: temporalidad/ historicidad, autoría, diagnóstico, evaluación, finalidades/objetivos/ metas, democratización/ participación. El PPP todavía no se concretizo como un instrumento para la orientación de la práctica educativa y el establecimiento de principios orientadores de la acción. De los cinco PPP analizados apenas dos presentaron características más innovadoras.]]></p></abstract>
