Exemplo disso é, no caso da Europa, o Processo de Bolonha, a construção do espaço europeu de ensino superior (EEES) e os desafios curriculares que o mesmo suscita em tempo de globalização e (des)igualdades. Neste texto, centrar-me-ei em três pontos. Em primeiro lugar, algumas notas relativas a mudanças, a pressões e a desafios com que hoje se confronta o ensino superior. Em segundo lugar, o processo de reconfiguração do ensino superior na Europa, com a criação do EEES. A terminar, os desafios curriculares que a construção deste espaço coloca e a lógica curricular que a eles preside.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This round-table focused on the theme Globalization and higher education: the discussion of Bologna and was presented at the VII Conference of Curricular Studies (III Portuguese- Brazilian Conference), “Globalization and (un)equalities: curricular challenges”, that took place in Braga, PT, University of Minho (from 9 to 11 February 2006). The first article (by Maria Célia Marcondes de Moraes, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina), presents the main trends of the global university and their relationship with Bologna´s proposals and, in the context of Brazilian postgraduate evaluation, underpins two relevant topics, the new paradigm of evaluation and its impacts on research and postgraduate courses. The second article (by José Carlos Morgado, Universidade do Minho) discuss the curricular changes that have been proposed for contemporary higher education. Its point of depart are the shifts on the relationship among University, State and Society and it thinks over the new functions assigned to the university, particularly to teachers, in a context of intense globalization and of the hegemony of economic criteria that superposes cultural and scientific principles. The last article (by José Brites Ferreira, Escola Superior de Educação de Leiria), focus on three aspects. First, it draws some notes related to changes, pressures and challenges that face higher education. Second, it discusses the process of reconfiguration of European higher education after the creation of EEES. Finally, it presents the curricular challenges put forward by the construction of this space and the curricular logic that underpins it.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Los textos aquí publicados fueron presentados en el VII Coloquio de Estudios Curriculares (III Coloquio Luso-Brasilero), “Globalización y (des)igualdades: los desafíos curriculares”, realizado en Praga, Portugal, en la Universidad de Minho, entre el 9 y 11 de febrero de 2006, sobre el tema Globalización y enseñanza superior: la discusión de Bolonia. El primer trabajo (de Maria Célia Marcondes de Moraes, Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina), delinea las tendencias del proyecto universal global, que van al encuentro con las propuestas de Bolonia y, en el contexto de la evaluación brasilera del Postgrado, indica dos aspectos relevantes en ese debate, el nuevo modelo de evaluación y sus impactos en la investigación y en el postgrado. El segundo (de José Carlos Morgado, Universidad do Minho/PT), pretende contribuir para el debate que se desarrolla alrededor de los cambios curriculares que se “diseñan” para la enseñanza superior contemporánea. Partiendo de las alteraciones en los modos de relación entre Universidad, Estado y Sociedad, reflexiona sobre la función destinada a la universidad, en particular a los profesores, en un contexto marcado por una intensa globalización y en el cual los criterios de índole económica tienden a sobreponerse a los aspectos cultural y científico. El tercer artículo (de José Brites Ferreira, Escuela Superior de Educación de Leiria/PT), se centra en tres puntos. En primer lugar, expone algunas notas relativas a cambios, presiones y a desafíos que hoy enfrenta la enseñanza superior. En segundo lugar, discute el proceso de re-configuración de la enseñanza superior en Europa, con al creación del Espacio Europeo de Enseñanza Superior (EEES). Finalmente, analiza los desafíos curriculares que la construcción de este espacio coloca y la lógica curricular inherente a él.]]></p></abstract>
