Lida-se com a hip&#243;tese de que os elementos gr&#225;ficos traduzidos como layout (as ilustra&#231;&#245;es, as linhas, os espa&#231;os vazios e ocupados, as cores, as letras e a diversifica&#231;&#227;o mai&#250;scula, min&#250;scula, como tamb&#233;m a espessura) expandem o potencial da escrita e tendem a multiplicar sentidos, imprimem dinamicidade, interatividade, multilinearidade ao texto e oferecem ao leitor percursos variados de leitura. Esta pesquisa trata de uma an&#225;lise bibliogr&#225;fica de abordagem qualitativa. No que diz respeito aos procedimentos metodol&#243;gicos, estabeleceu-se um estudo dos aspectos gr&#225;ficos segundo Gomes Filho, Ara&#250;jo, Camargo, Ramos e Nunes. As discuss&#245;es acerca dos deslocamentos t&#234;m como fundamento os estudos de Barthes. Como resultado, indica-se que os dois livros analisados Os lobos dentro das paredes, de Neil Gaiman, e O menino que vendia palavras, de Ign&#225;cio de Loyola Brand&#227;o, promovem um di&#225;logo entre o texto verbal e os v&#225;rios elementos que comp&#245;em o layout, auxiliando na valoriza&#231;&#227;o do livro como objeto art&#237;stico. Por meio das inova&#231;&#245;es gr&#225;ficas, o conjunto de elementos utilizados gera inova&#231;&#245;es po&#233;ticas vibrantes que marcam uma revolu&#231;&#227;o na concep&#231;&#227;o de livro infantil e uma muta&#231;&#227;o na leitura.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper aims to analyze how the graphic aspects of books allow shifts that expand the possibilities of reading, discussing how they interfere with the reception of the work. We deal with the hypothesis that the graphic elements translated as layout (illustrations, lines, empty and occupied spaces, colors, letters and capital and lower case diversification, as well as thickness) expand the potential of writing and tend to multiply senses, print dynamics, interactivity, multilinearity to the text and offer the reader a variety of reading routes. This research is a literature review of qualitative approach. Regarding the methodological procedures, a study of the graphic aspects was set according to Gomes Filho (2004), Ara&#250;jo (2011), Camargo (2009), Ramos and Nunes (2013). The discussions concerning displacements are based upon Barthes's studies (2007). As a result, we indicate that the two books analyzed Os lobos dentro das paredes (Wolves within the walls), by Neil Gaimanand, O menino que vendia palavras (The boy who sold words), by Ign&#225;cio de Loyola Brand&#227;o, promote a dialogue between the verbal text and the various elements that compose the layout, assisting in the enhancement of the book as an art object. Through the graphic innovations, the set of elements used generates vibrant poetic innovations that mark a revolution in the conception of children's book and a mutation in reading.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[R&#233;sum&#233; Cet article vise &#224; analyser la fa&#231;on dont les aspects graphiques des livres permettent des changements qui peuvent &#233;largir les possibilit&#233;s de lecture, en discutant comment cela interf&#232;rent dans la r&#233;ception de l'oeuvre. Nous travaillons avec l'hypoth&#232;se que les trac&#233;s graphiques traduits comme layout (des illustrations, des lignes, des espaces vides et occup&#233;s, les couleurs, les lettres capital, minuscules, ainsi que l'&#233;paisseur) peuvent agrandir le potentiel de l'&#233;criture et ont la tendance de multiplier les sens, d'imprimer la dynamicit&#233; , l'interactivit&#233;, la multilin&#233;arit&#233; du texte et ils offrent au lecteur une vari&#233;t&#233; de entr&#233;es dans la lecture.
