Com base no arcabou&#231;o te&#243;rico da criatividade de Mitj&#225;ns Mart&#237;nez e dos estudos sobre a cultura da m&#237;dia e do consumo, tais como os de Bauman, desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa durante o ano de 2015 tendo como objetivo interpretar as principais formas de quatro escolas p&#250;blicas do Distrito Federal/Brasil se relacionarem com a cultura da m&#237;dia e do consumo. A partir de informa&#231;&#245;es produzidas nas escolas por meio de entrevistas, observa&#231;&#245;es, fotografias e an&#225;lise documental, constatou-se que h&#225; tr&#234;s principais formas: a incorpora&#231;&#227;o e/ou reprodu&#231;&#227;o da cultura da m&#237;dia e do consumo; sua normatiza&#231;&#227;o e/ou proibi&#231;&#227;o; e formas criativas de lidar com ela. Conclui-se que, de alguma forma, as escolas precisam lidar com essa cultura, que se mostra, em grande medida, inevit&#225;vel, e a criatividade no trabalho pedag&#243;gico &#233; uma alternativa poss&#237;vel e necess&#225;ria diante dessa cultura.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper addresses the prevalence of the media and consumption culture in the life of a number of students and individuals that attend school in large cities in contemporary times. By considering the theory of creativity proposed by Mitj&#225;ns Mart&#237;nez and studies on the media and consumption culture, such as those by Bauman, we carried out a research during the year 2015 aiming to interpret the main ways that four public schools in the Federal District have related with media and consumption culture. From the use of informations produced in the schools by means of interviews, observations, photographs and documental analysis, we found three prevalent ways: incorporation and/or reproduction of the media and consumption culture; its normatization and/or prohibition; and creative ways to deal with it. We have concluded that, somehow, the schools need to cope with that culture, which has shown to be inevitable, and that creativity in the pedagogical work is a possible and necessary alternative in relation to that culture.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Se consider&#243; la predominancia de la cultura de los medios de comunicaci&#243;n y de consumo en la vida de gran parte de los alumnos e individuos que habitan la instituci&#243;n escuela en los grandes centros urbanos en tiempos contempor&#225;neos. Considerando la teor&#237;a de la creatividad de Mitj&#225;ns Mart&#237;nez y los estudios sobre la cultura de los medios de comunicaci&#243;n y del consumo, tales como los de Bauman, se desenvolvi&#243; una investigaci&#243;n durante el a&#241;o 2015 con el objetivo de interpretar las principales formas de relacionarse de cuatro escuelas p&#250;blicas del Distrito Federal con esta la cultura de los medios de comunicaci&#243;n y del consumo. A partir de informaci&#243;nes producidas en las escuelas por medio de entrevistas, observaciones, fotograf&#237;as y an&#225;lisis documental, se constat&#243; que hay tres formas principales formas: la incorporaci&#243;n y/o reproducci&#243;n de la cultura de los medios de comunicaci&#243;n y del consumo; su normalizaci&#243;n y/o prohibici&#243;n; y las formas creativas de lidiar con ella. Se concluy&#243; que, de alguna manera, las escuelas precisan lidiar con esa cultura, que se muestra, en gran medida, inevitable, y la creatividad en el trabajo pedag&#243;gico es una alternativa posible y necesaria frente a esa cultura.]]></p></abstract>
