O trabalho analisa cada um desses ensaios individualmente e relaciona os seus conteúdos com os temas centrais do livro, com o propósito de oferecer novas diretrizes para o trabalho docente na atualidade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This work considers that the elaboration of John Dewey&#8217;s aesthetic theory, presented in the book &#8220;Art as experience&#8221;, published in 1934, derives from a series of essays from the 1920s - &#8220;Experience, nature and art&#8221;, &#8220;Individuality and experience&#8221;, &#8220;Affective thought,&#8221; and &#8220;Art in education - education in art.&#8221; The work analyzes each one of these essays individually and relates its contents to the central themes of the book to offer new guidelines for the teaching work today.]]></p></abstract>
