O Programa Incluir - Acessibilidade na Educa&#231;&#227;o Superior, criado em 2005, tem o objetivo de promover o desenvolvimento de pol&#237;ticas institucionais de acessibilidade nas IFES (Institui&#231;&#245;es Federais de Ensino Superior), buscando o pleno desenvolvimento acad&#234;mico de estudantes com defici&#234;ncia e/ou mobilidade reduzida. Esta pesquisa objetivou tra&#231;ar um panorama das a&#231;&#245;es exercidas pelos n&#250;cleos de acessibilidade em favor da participa&#231;&#227;o das pessoas com defici&#234;ncia nas IFES. Participaram os coordenadores envolvidos com os n&#250;cleos das IFES beneficiadas pelo Programa Incluir no ano de 2013, os quais foram convidados a responderem um question&#225;rio, via formul&#225;rio eletr&#244;nico, pelo recurso do Google Docs. As respostas foram categorizadas essencialmente nos t&#243;picos tem&#225;ticos de an&#225;lise: estrutura f&#237;sica; estrutura humana; ajuda t&#233;cnica. Foram levantadas as condi&#231;&#245;es de acessibilidade nos &#226;mbitos arquitet&#244;nicos, comunicacionais, instrumentais, metodol&#243;gicos e program&#225;ticos. Identificaram-se as a&#231;&#245;es que est&#227;o sendo realizadas pelos n&#250;cleos e/ou comit&#234;s de acessibilidade e, em igual medida, quais barreiras ainda precisam ser superadas para que estudantes com defici&#234;ncia possam participar mais ativamente do contexto acad&#234;mico com vistas &#224; conclus&#227;o dos seus estudos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: Access to Higher Education is an ever growing reality in our country, attracting attention from researchers of the field. Programa Incluir - Acessibilidade na Educa&#231;&#227;o Superior [Program Inclusion - Accessibility in Higher Education], created in 2005, aims at promoting the development of institutional accessibility measures in Federal Institutions of Higher Education (FIHE) in order to achieve full academic development of students with disabilities and/or with reduced mobility. The objective of this research is to present an overview of the actions carried out by accessibility centers to ensure the participation of disabled people at FIHE. The coordinators involved with the accessibility centers of FIHE which received benefits from the Programa Incluir in 2013 participated in this research, and were asked to respond to an online questionnaire, using Google Docs. The answers were categorized essentially in the analysis topics: physical structure; human structure; technical help. The accessibility conditions in the architectural, communicational, programmatic, instrumental, methodological, and attitudinal aspects were identified. It was possible to determine which measures are being taken by those accessibility centers and/or committees and, also, the barriers to be overcome so that disabled students are able to participate more actively in the academic context and successfully conclude their studies.]]></p></abstract>
