<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1517-97022015000501521&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1517-97022015000501521&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1517-97022015000501521&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[ResumoA proposta deste dossi&#234; nasceu da minha circula&#231;&#227;o como membro de diferentes espa&#231;os acad&#234;micos de produ&#231;&#227;o e divulga&#231;&#227;o de pesquisas em educa&#231;&#227;o, especialmente no Grupo de Trabalho 23 da Associa&#231;&#227;o Nacional de P&#243;s-Gradua&#231;&#227;o e Pesquisa em Educa&#231;&#227;o (Anped) &#8211; G&#234;nero, Sexualidade e Educa&#231;&#227;o &#8211;, e na Associa&#231;&#227;o Brasileira de Estudos da Homocultura (ABEH). Nesses encontros, percebia que cada vez mais, nos diferentes espa&#231;os acad&#234;micos, nas pesquisas, na m&#237;dia impressa e eletr&#244;nica, na publicidade, nos cursos de forma&#231;&#227;o e nas preocupa&#231;&#245;es que dizem de processos educativos, proliferam discursos e pr&#225;ticas de constru&#231;&#227;o dos corpos. Tamb&#233;m &#233; recorrente a ideia de constru&#231;&#227;o, o que faz com que essas a&#231;&#245;es de investimentos nos corpos sejam contradit&#243;rias, algumas vezes paradoxais, mas tamb&#233;m repletas de rela&#231;&#245;es de poder, prazer, desejos, de maneira que tamb&#233;m tenhamos que falar de investimentos que s&#227;o comemorados, fazendo com que os discursos e pr&#225;ticas tamb&#233;m possam ser classificados como entusiasmados. Com isso, podemos dizer que o conhecimento do corpo, sobre o corpo e com o corpo &#233; resultado de investimento, confronto, negocia&#231;&#227;o e processos hist&#243;ricos, sempre relacionados aos desejos, medos, preocupa&#231;&#245;es, sonhos de cada lugar, momento, cultura e grupo social. Estranhos, abjetos, cobi&#231;ados, constru&#237;dos: corpos, desejos e educa&#231;&#227;o &#233; um dossi&#234; que procura operar com esses pressupostos, dando lugar a diferentes configura&#231;&#245;es e funcionamento das sociedades ocidentais que nos convidam a explorar essas constru&#231;&#245;es e valoriza&#231;&#245;es que dizem dessas sociedades ocidentais e que as transformam, colocando sob suspeita os processos educativos dos sujeitos, assumindo-os como provis&#243;rios e contingentes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[AbstractThe proposal of this dossier came from my circulation as a member of several academic places for the production and dissemination of research on Education, especially in the Work Group 23 of the National Association of Post-Graduation and Research in Education (Anped)&#8211;Gender, Sexuality, and Education &#8211;, and at the Brazilian Association of Homo-Culture (ABEH). In such meetings, I realized that more and more, in different academic milieu, in research, in the media, in advertisement, in training courses and in the preoccupations concerning the educative processes, there is a proliferation of discourses and practices that construct the bodies. The very idea of construction is recurrent, which makes these actions of body investments to be contradictory, sometimes paradoxical, but also full of power relations, pleasure, desires, so that we must also mention investments that are celebrated, making it possible to classify discourses and practices as enthusiastic. Thus, we may say that the knowledge of the body, about the body and with the body is the result of investment, confrontation, negotiation, and historical processes, always related to the desires, fears, concerns, dreams of each place, moment, culture, and social group. Weird, abject, coveted, constructed: bodies, desires, and education is a dossier that seeks to operate with these assumptions, making room for different configurations and the functioning of Western societies which invite us to explore these constructions and appreciations which speak of these societies and which change them, putting under suspicion the educative processes of individuals, taking them as temporary and contingent.]]></p></abstract>
