The study also incorporates the analytical dimension of the place of origin within this construct to deepen the understanding of why young people from popular backgrounds persist in management undergraduate courses. This framework will take into account various dimensions involved in their trajectories, such as family, work, education, leisure, sociability, and place of origin. The theoretical foundation of this study will be further explained below. By applying Bernard Lahire&#8217;s dispositional theory and incorporating interdisciplinary perspectives from the fields of Sociology and Geography, this research intends to contribute to the development of new data and perspectives for analysis. The study highlights the importance of directly observing the place of origin of young people from popular backgrounds studying management, as it reinforces the presence of place in the constitution of youthful biographies and its influence on the persistence of young people in higher education. It reinforces the need for dialogues and new perspectives to identify and understand phenomena in management undergraduate courses and contributes to the set of research that seeks to understand the reality and dynamics of Brazilian social groups from more popular contexts in their interaction contexts.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este estudo propõe uma abordagem teórica e metodológica para pesquisa baseada na obra de Bernard Lahire, com foco na estrutura e composição de retratos sociológicos. O estudo também incorpora a dimensão analítica do lugar de origem dentro deste construto para aprofundar a compreensão do porquê jovens de origens populares persistem em cursos de graduação em administração. Este arcabouço levará em consideração várias dimensões envolvidas em suas trajetórias, como família, trabalho, educação, lazer, sociabilidade e lugar de origem. A fundamentação teórica deste estudo será melhor explicada abaixo. Ao aplicar a teoria disposicional de Bernard Lahire e incorporar perspectivas interdisciplinares dos campos da Sociologia e Geografia, esta pesquisa pretende contribuir para o desenvolvimento de novos dados e perspectivas para análise. O estudo destaca a importância de observar diretamente o lugar de origem de jovens de origens populares que estudam administração, pois reforça a presença do lugar na constituição de biografias juvenis e sua influência na persistência de jovens no ensino superior. Reforça a necessidade de diálogos e novos olhares para identificar e compreender fenômenos nos cursos de graduação em administração e contribui para o conjunto de pesquisas que buscam compreender a realidade e a dinâmica de grupos sociais brasileiros a partir de contextos mais populares em seus contextos de interação.]]></p></abstract>
