<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1519-39932018000300455&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1519-39932018000300455&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1519-39932018000300455&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O presente trabalho visa investigar as representa&#231;&#245;es do bioma Caatinga existentes entre estudantes do Ensino Fundamental de duas escolas situadas em diferentes contextos (urbano e rural) no estado da Bahia, por meio da an&#225;lise de desenhos produzidos em um momento de interven&#231;&#227;o pedag&#243;gica. Em cada escola, os alunos apresentaram uma imagem autoral representativa do bioma Caatinga, explicando os motivos da escolha da imagem. Ao longo da interven&#231;&#227;o foram realizados registros audiovisuais para a composi&#231;&#227;o de um videomosaico de imagens nas duas escolas, como forma de registro documental. Os estudantes da escola urbana perceberam a Caatinga como um bioma pobre em biodiversidade, onde a seca &#233; predominante e constante. Os estudantes da escola do campo, por sua vez, revelaram representa&#231;&#245;es diferentes acerca da Caatinga, principalmente um sentimento de pertencimento a esse bioma. O trabalho possibilitou uma reflex&#227;o sobre os diversos significados do bioma nesses distintos contextos socioculturais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The aim of this paper was to investigate the representations of the Caatinga among students from two schools from two different contexts (city and country) in Bahia, Brazil, by analyzing drawings produced during a pedagogical intervention. Students from each school depicted a representative image of the Caatinga, explaining the reasons for choosing the image. Audiovisual records were made, generating a video mosaic from the images from both schools as a form of document record. Urban school students perceived the Caatinga as being poor in biodiversity, in which drought is prevalent and constant. Students from the country school, in turn, revealed different representations of the Caatinga, mainly a sense of belonging to this biome. Thus, the study provided a reflection on the various meanings of the biome in these different socio-cultural contexts.]]></p></abstract>
